Frequently asked questions
What kinds of services do you offer?
We provide a full spectrum of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy with specialties in Dry Needling, pelvic floor, blood flow restriction, hand therapy, and BIG for Parkinson’s Disorder. Think of us as your go-to for helping you recover, regain function, and feel better in your day-to-day.
What’s the difference between Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy here?
Physical Therapy is focused on range of motion, strength, balance, walking, and mobility of lower extremities, back, and neck—helping you get back from injury, surgery or illness. Occupational Therapy concentrates on everyday activities like dressing, using your hands or returning to work/hobbies, as well as improving range of motion, strength, and mobility of upper extremities. Both are tailored to your goals.
What is Dry Needling and how can it help?
Dry Needling uses small, thin needles to decrease pain, inflammation, and stiffness by targeting muscle trigger points, tendons, and nerve pathways. It can help with chronic pain, muscle tightness, tendinitis, headaches or muscle spasms by releasing tension and improving function. Electrical stimulation can also be used with the needles for optimal benefits.
Who is a good candidate for your services?
If you’re dealing with a recent injury, recovering from surgery, stroke, managing chronic pain, weakness, or having trouble with daily activities—ours is a good fit. We’ll talk through your history and goals to create a plan just for you.
How do you decide what treatment plan I need?
We start with a full assessment—what you’re struggling with, how it’s affecting your life, and what you want to achieve. Then we select the therapies and techniques (manual therapy, exercises, Dry Needling, adaptive tools) to meet your goals.
What kinds of conditions do you treat?
We treat a wide range: upper- and lower-body issues, fractures, tendon repairs, joint replacements (shoulder, hip, knee), balance problems (vestibular/BPPV), neurological conditions (stroke, brain injury), pelvic floor disorders and more.
What will my visit look like?
On your first visit, we’ll evaluate your movement or ability to perform tasks, set measurable goals, and outline what to expect. You’ll get hands-on treatment plus guidance to keep progressing between sessions with a home exercise program.
How long does therapy take and when will I see improvement?
It depends on the condition and your goals. Some people feel relief in just a few sessions; others with more complex needs may be on a longer track. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
Do you accept insurance and how does scheduling work?
